The Leitz PanPhot-2 has been modified with three types of illuminators: a 100W QH lamp, 250W QH lamp and a high speed flash system capable of 1/16,000 of a second. The microscope is configured with a Nikon D7100 digital camera capable of both still and video imaging.


The system is capable of reflected and transmitted interference contrast (Smith and Nomarski), Phase contrast, darkfield and brightfield as well as polarization.


Calibrated mensuration of every image is an option.


This stand is ideal for live specimen imaging as well as a variety of industrial needs.

Multi-Scale Technical, Scientific, Biological Microscopy and Industrial Imaging

The Zeiss IM-35 inverted microscope (right) has both reflected and transmitted illumination options. It is configured with both 35mm digital cameras as well as 2K video.


The system is capable of Normarski reflected light interference contrast, brightfield, darkfield and polarization. In transmitted configuration, the specimens can be imaged in phase contrast as well as the above described techniques. This stand is ideal for large specimens, metallurgical imaging as well as a variety of industrial needs.


The Olympus trinocular macroscope (left) is mounted on a Leitz Aristophot macro stand.  This system allows for brightfield and darkfield low power imaging. The stand is configured for both frame and video imaging.  This platform is ideal for studying bulk live specimens.


Calibrated mensuration of every image is an option on both stands.
